Get ready for spring

Nearly time to spring clean all those toys and the play equipment and get outside in the garden even more: eat outside, make music, sing outside and play outside.

Here is my all time favourite book for spring because it is about nature and growth and animals and it encourages curiousity and the need to get outdoors after you have read it.

The story begins:
Here's one oak tree in a forest.
It looks like the others, except -

and by reading the book you learn all the fascinating happenings in one small place over many years and you go beneath the bark to a hidden world. The love of nature shines through in this book.

Go Barbara Brenner you rock!  Oh yes, the illustrations, by Tom Leonard, are amazing too. Barbara and Tom have also created One Small Place by the Sea

So stop and go outdoors.  Observe. Explore your natural world. If you look closely enough, you will surely find . . . one small place that is home for something.

I as well as my guys happened to be examining your site while then developed an awful feeling I never expressed respect to the web site owner for those secrets on teaching children who are younger. certainly been tapping into these things. Thank you for this kind of incredible information most people are really desirous to discover.
Our own honest regret for not expressing gratitude to you sooner
