Feelings song

Making sense of our feelings is a life skill that is important for emotional well being. From 2 years of age children start to have an understanding of themselves as an individual and using words to describe emotions helps children to make sense of their feelings.
Children can learn and understand happy, sad and mad from an early age.
Preschool children can learn to understand and identify the feelings of happy, sad and mad. So use these words in a song sung to the tune of Frere Jacques. Obviously making a happy face, sad face or angry face, while singing the song, enhances the process of learning about our feelings and children being able to use words to express their feelings.

I am Happy
I am Happy
Look at me!
Look at me!
I am very happy.
I am very happy.
Can't you see?
